Lumos started the way most good ideas do — out of frustration.
Amanda had been teaching young learners online for years. She loved her students, loved the work — but she was exhausted from building everything from scratch. Every class. Every week. There was no curriculum designed for how independent online ESL teaching actually works.
So she built one. And she gave it a heart.
Henry is the guide at the center of the Lumos world.
He shows up in every lesson — curious, friendly, and always ready to learn alongside your students. When kids see Henry, they know what to expect: something fun is about to happen. That familiarity is powerful. It means your students are engaged before you say a word.

Level 2 unit are being worked on each day, with a new unit (8 lessons) dropping each month. Once complete, Levels 3–5 are up next.
